  • Who are the Fordians?
    The franchise, in existence since 2002.  The team is affiliated with the American Amateur Baseball Congress (AABC) and the National Athletic Baseball Association (NABF). We play in the ENYCBL eastern Division. As several of the longstanding Fordian players turned 23 years old in  2008 Waterford Joined The Albany Twilight League with One of their Two College aged teams. 

  • What kind of league is the ENYCBL?

    Established in 2002, the ENYCBL is a wood bat league with players with college eligibility. The league is primarily composed of college players from junior college to Division I. All  teams compete at premier fields every day of the week for a 30-game league schedule. 

  • What kind of season do the Fordians compete in?

    The Fordians not only compete in their 30 league games, but they also schedule 25-30 additional games to give them a 50+ game schedule. Their non-league schedule includes competition against Atlantic Collegiate League (ACBL) teams and New York Collegiate League teams (NYCBL), as well as various tournaments in the Northeast. Other non-league games include opponents who have reached the Continental Amateur Baseball Association (CABA) and participants of the Upper New York State Championship Tournament. We also compete for the (NABF) College World Series, which gives players a chance to play in front of professional coaches and scouts.

  • What have the Fordians accomplished since they have been in existence?

    The Fordians have accomplished a number of championships and accolades. Please note them below:
  • 2007 - ENYCBL League champions 24-2, NABF North East Regional Runnerup. Finishing the season 39-9-2. 
  • 2006 - ENYCBL Champions17-1, NABF North East Regional Champions, NABF College World Series 6th place, Finishing 37-7.
  •  2005 - ENYCBL Champions11-1, UNY State AABC,Tournament third place, Athletics Baseball Fest Champions. 
  • 2004 - ENYCBL Champions, 13-1, UNY State AABC,Runner Up, NABF College World Series Final Four, Athletics Baseball Fest third place, Finishing 39-10.
  • 2003 - ENYCBL Champions, NABF North East Regional Runner up. Finishing 32-10
  • 2002 - Opening Season for the franchise, Mountains Collegiate League
